VBS Volunteers | Details: Come be part of something meaningful this summer! VBS is one of the most joyful and impactful weeks in the life of our church, and it wouldn’t be possible without amazing volunteers like you. Whether you love working with kids, helping behind the scenes, or simply being a friendly face, there’s a place for you on the team. Join us as we share God’s love, create lasting memories, and make a difference in the lives of children in our community. We’d love for you to be part of it!Volunteer Placement: You will be able to indicate the area you’d like to serve in. We will do our best to honor your request, but placement is not guaranteed. Greatest Need: Our biggest need is always Crew Leaders, and we encourage you to consider serving in this role! Crew Leader Structure: Each group will have at least 2 adult leaders, along with 1–3 high school volunteers, depending on the age group and number of kids registered.Requirements (Age 18+): All adult volunteers must have a current background check on file and complete the “Child Safety” training video in order to serve.T-Shirts: VBS t-shirts are available for purchase for $10, but are not required. If you choose not to purchase a shirt, you will be asked to wear a yellow volunteer vest during VBS.Children of Volunteers: VBS programming begins at Kindergarten for the 26/27 school year, but we don’t want that to keep you from serving! Childcare will be provided in the Faithville for younger children so you can jump in and be part of VBS.Daily Schedule: Dinner will be provided for volunteers who arrive by 5:00 PM Monday-Thursday.
