I have been married to Amey for 22 wonderful years. Amey and I have raised four children and are excited to watch our grandchildren, Nyko, Sophia, Raine, and Matthias, grow to be strong in the Lord! We are excited that God has called us to Bright Christian Church where I have the privilege of serving as Lead Pastor. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Cincinnati Christian University. I completed my Master of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership in May 2019. I love to help people grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ and I have a passion for missions both in the United States and Internationally. Amey is very gifted at leading women and helping them overcome habits, hurts and hangups. She is my greatest partner in ministry! Together, we will love and lead the BCC family.

After spending 12 years as an engineer, Nick answered God’s call to enter full-time ministry. In 2025, he graduated from Central Bible University with a Master’s in Ministry Leadership. Nick is enthusiastic about helping people grow closer to God and to the body of believers at BCC. He loves making disciples who make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Timothy 2:2). Nick grew up in the Bright community, and his family attended BCC when he was a kid. In 2014, Nick married his high school sweetheart, Taylor. After moving around the state of Indiana for school and work, the McDonough family decided to sink their roots back in Bright, Indiana in 2021. God has blessed Nick and Taylor with four wonderful boys: William, Wade, Wright, and Whitaker. Each boy’s name points to a characteristic of God. Unable to resist the dad joke, Nick will often say, “Where there is a Will, there is a Wade, and that’s Wright. So, get Whit it!” Nick has an eclectic collection of hobbies and loves to discuss many subjects: basketball, lifting, chess, coffee, and theology just to name a few.

Bennett serves as the Student Ministry Director, providing leadership and oversight for the middle and high school ministries. He joined the church staff in May 2024 after previously serving as a volunteer within the student ministry.He is currently pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies at Central Bible College as he prepares for a life of ministry. His passion is to see students grow and mature in their faith, develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and become committed followers of Him. He also desires to faithfully share the gospel with students and anyone else who may be hearing the message of Jesus for the first time. Outside of ministry, Bennett enjoys golfing with family and friends, as well as backpacking in remote parts of the country. He has been working to accomplish his goal of visiting all 63 National Parks. As one of seven children, he has a strong appreciation for relationships and community and enjoys connecting with others.

Kristina married her high school sweetheart, Kevin, in 2004. They have eight children and one son-in-law. In 2010, Kristina graduated from Fortis College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She worked for several years as a registed nurse before deciding to become the CEO of her household. Recently, she began classes at Johnson University to obtain a degree in Chistian Ministry Studies. As the Children's Ministry Director, she enjoys sharing the great news of Jesus with the children by getting them actively involved in the lesson and stories. She is excited to walk with parents while they raise their children in the Lord.

Jared has been attending Bright for 10 years. He began leading worship during high school for the youth ministry here at BCC. Jared graduated from the University of Cincinnati in the spring of 2023, studying Medical Sciences with a double minor in Public Health and Integrative Medicine.

Jared has been serving on the worship team for six years now and has a passion for worshiping God through music. He was the worship intern for BCC during the summer of 2020 and came on as a staff member during the summer of 2021. Jared full-heartedly believes that worship is not just singing a song or two, but rather a lifestyle that we are called to live by Jesus. Everything we do should be for His glory alone.

Dominic and his wife Courtnie have been married since June of 2022 and have a beautiful son named Wesley. Dominic received his bachelor's degree in Commercial Music Production from the University of Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music in 2022. He has been continuing to develop new skills in audio/visual technology. As the Director of Media and Technology, he gets to bring others to Jesus Christ. Whether he's writing music or installing new equipment, he has the privilege of using his God-given talents to bring Him honor and glory!

Linda lives in the Bright community and has been on staff at Bright Christian Church since June of 1990. Linda and her husband Carl have been married for 27 years and have two grown children and six beautiful grandchildren who bring them great joy. Linda values time with her family and friends and enjoys photography, being creative, playing games, hiking, and spending time outdoors admiring God’s magnificent creation. In her position as office manager, she feels blessed to work alongside a great staff and leadership team who adhere to sound biblical doctrine and deeply follow BCC's mission to Love God, Love People, and Impact our World.

Tina began working in the office at Bright Church in 2016. She loves her job and considers it a joy to get to work with a great staff team and to serve her church family. She loves helping with the senior citizen ministry and the Grief Share support group. Tina was born and raised in Bright, attended East Central High School, and took classes at UC Blue Ash. She moved away and came back in 2010 and began attending BCC. She is married to Tony and they have 4 children and 3 grandsons.

Tina began working in the office at Bright Church in 2024.

Betty was born here in Bright, Indiana and has lived here all her life. She and her twin sister, Patsy, share a home together on State Line Road. She volunteered as treasurer for Bright Christian Church for 20 years while working her regular job as an accountant. After retirement, she and Patsy ran a catering business for 10 years. Now she is enjoying working with Rhonda as co-treasurer for Bright Christian Church again.

Rhonda Posey has been a member of Bright since 1997. She has lived in the area her entire life, and was married to Randy for 31 years before his passing in 2012. Rhonda has two children, Ryan (teaching in Spain) married to Alba Martinez, and Rachel (teaching at Bright Elementary) married to Zac Strobl. Rachel and Zac have two beautiful children, Lilianna and Lincoln. Rhonda also serves as a board member of Bright Christian Preschool. She loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren, travel and go birdwatching.

Ashley Carr serves as the School Administrator and Kindergarten Teacher at Bright Christian School, where she has the privilege of helping build and grow a Christ-centered school community. She has more than 12 years of experience in early childhood education and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Miami University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago. She holds principal licenses in both Indiana and Ohio. Ashley’s passion for ministry is rooted in helping children know and love Jesus while creating an environment where they feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Her goal is to partner with families and the church to equip the next generation to love God, love people, and impact the world. Ashley has been married for 14 years and is a mother of three. Outside of school and ministry, she enjoys spending time with her family, life on their farm, and caring for their two Saint Bernards.

Andi serves as the Preschool Director and Assistant to the School Administrator at Bright Christian School. In these roles, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the preschool and assists the School Administrator with whatever is needed to help the school run smoothly. The 2026–2027 school year marks her 13th year at the preschool, a place she is passionate about and grateful to be a part of. Her goal is to continue building a strong Christian program that expands beyond the preschool while providing children with a quality Christian education in a loving and nurturing environment. She has been married to Travis since 2007, and together they have two children, Addisyn and Taedyn. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching Addi sing, perform, and compete for FCCLA, and cheering on Taedyn as he plays football, baseball, and wrestling.

Caleb has been married to Danielle since September of 2021. Together they are raising their wonderful little boy Matthias, who they get to show Christ to every day. Danielle leads a Women's Marriage Bible study to help grow herself and other women. Caleb serves as the Facilities Supervisor and has been in the construction field, ran his own business, and with contracting companies to complete projects for clients. As Caleb keeps growing, he is blessed to be able to use his gifts for God's kingdom work, maintaining and improving the quality and comfort for Bright Christian Church.

John has served on the BCC Facilities Staff since December 2022. After more than 45 years working in facilities management, he is grateful for the opportunity to use his experience in service to the church. John believes ministry happens in many ways, and for him, much of it takes place behind the scenes—caring for the buildings and grounds, helping others, and doing his part to create an environment where people feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. John views his role as an opportunity to be a good steward of what God has provided and to support those who teach, lead, worship, and serve at BCC. His professional experience includes facilities work in the banking, hotel, and independent-living industries, along with studies in Business Administration and HVAC technologies. John and his wife, Kathy, have shared more than 40 years of marriage. John has three children and three grandchildren. He enjoys the time he is able to spend with BCC men’s life groups as well as gardening, home projects, and touring with Kathy on their e-bikes.

AnnaMarie Zang is the lead of housekeeping and keeps schedules and orders on track for keeping the building clean and maintained. AnnaMarie has always been in church but feels passionate about working to effectively maintain a clean church. She believes having a clean environment adds to the feeling of being welcomed and safe and that is what she wants for our Father’s house. Her passion is to raise her kids in Christ and be the light in a dark world. Her and her husband, Jeff, have 4 kids; 2 of whom she is currently homeschooling. Along with enjoying her family, she also loves being creative, organizing, drinking coffee, and spending time in nature.

Brody is a member of Bright Christian Church.

Holly works part time at Bright Christian Church as a housekeeper. She's been married to her husband Wally for 22 years, and they have three awesome children. Holly has been a cosmetologist for 27 years and a bus driver for Sunman-Dearborn Schools for 11 years. She enjoys gardening, traveling, hiking in the woods and loves the beach!
